So what do you do when you like to dye wool and it is raining outside? You dye wool . . . at least that's what Two Crows Dyed like's to do.
Today, TCD plans on doing some natural dyeing. Birch bark was harvested from a fallen tree that has been decomposing on the forest floor for sometime & Queen Anne's Lace (wild carrot) a wild, edible and nutritious plant. The bark and flowers will soon be turned into a dye bath.

Note: It is possible to harvest birch bark from a living tree at the right time of year without hurting the tree. I personally prefer to collect all my bark from trees that are damaged beyond repair or have fallen by either mother nature or a mechanical means (i.e. cut down for what ever reason).
